Kapascope respects your privacy. In accordance with the developer policies of Facebook, Google, and Apple, we provide the following instructions for users who wish to delete their data or remove Kapascope's access to their accounts.
1. Deleting Data via Facebook
If you used Facebook Login to access Kapascope, you can remove the app and revoke access to your data directly through your Facebook settings.
- Go to your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy.
- Click Settings.
- Find Apps and Websites, usually under the Your Information or Permissions section.
- Find Kapascope in the list of active apps.
- Click Remove next to Kapascope.
- Confirm the removal.
Once completed, Kapascope will no longer have access to your Facebook profile data through Facebook Login.
2. Requesting Full Account Deletion
To permanently delete your Kapascope account and associated data, including scanned cards, inventory, account preferences, and profile information, please use one of the following methods.
Method A: In-App Deletion
- Open the Kapascope mobile app.
- Go to Settings > Account.
- Tap Delete My Account.
- Confirm your choice to deactivate your account and begin the permanent deletion process.
Method B: Manual Request by Email
If you cannot access the app, you may request account deletion by contacting Kapascope directly.
- Email: admin@kapascope.com
- Subject: Data Deletion Request
- Message: Include your full name and the email address associated with your Kapascope account. If you used Sign in with Apple, include your Apple Private Relay email if available.
3. Processing Time
Manual data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account data has been permanently deleted from our systems, subject to any legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, or compliance obligations that may require limited data retention.
